EXPO 2016 Antalya Council Meeting was held on 30 March, 2015 in Su Hotel Antalya, headed by Governor of Antalya. A general presentation about developments in EXPO 2016 Antalya project was made to inform council members.
Chairman of International Working Group Commitee, Mr. Osman BAĞDATLIOĞLU; made a presentation about “Antalya In Bloom” project to the Council.
Antalya In Bloom project will be made in a historical part of the city to renovate and create a more green environment including floral displays. With this project, Turkey will participate for the first time to Communities In Bloom international competition, originated in Canada. Application of the project will be finished until June. There will be a judgement from international jury on July, 2015 and the results of the competition will be launched on October in Canada.
