A second full day ... you've had it a few days ago the summary of the morning, the afternoon was much more playful.
After leaving Sun Express offices, we go outside Antalya, almost already the campaign, in a major producer of cut flowers, the company Flash Flower (Flash Tarim).
This company was established in 1992. The small initial structure, specializing in the cultivation of carnations, was able, through its investments and many improvements in production over the years, greatly develop. Today, Flash Flower exports its flowers in over 20 countries.
We were received by the President of the company, Mr. Osman Bagdatlioglu, who is not really a stranger to us, since it is part of the Bid Committee for Expo 2016 Antalya. I had already had the opportunity to see him in Paris during the General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions.
Mr. Bagdatlioglu then explains how is organized cultivation of cut flowers in Antalya, with great detail and precision ... and above all ... a lot of numbers. But all this in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Following this meeting, it is time to move on, see first hand all that has been explained to us, and most importantly, visit some of the greenhouses of Flash Flower. We will not go around all the production sites, but it still gives us a good example of the practices of flowers, between roses and anthuriums... for the moment.
After these visits, we must join our second hotel ... Mardan Palace, where I would have the opportunity to talk soon ... in detail, with supporting photos, example of what are the best in the luxury hotel industry in Antalya... which is worth the trip !
