Turkish pavilion at Expo 1911 Torino... "Esposizione Internazionale"
...Coming down from the Palace of the newspaper to the village and the medieval castle, the crescent waving in the sun, reminds us, on the right, to the pavilion of Turkey.
Oriental style, and charming effect with his arched windows and double windows that open to ogle, as the beautiful veiled of 'harem, between the foliage of the trees, it was designed by the Ottoman Gurekian Leon, who completed his art studies in Rome.
The interior, all lined in silk and Oriental ceramics, has, with his dazzling decorazion and polychrome, a beautiful setting at the products of the Ottoman Empire.
The organizing committee is composed of Ali Riza Bey, the Turkish consul in Ancona and Commissioner General, and Cav. uff. Alberto Peyrot, console Empire in Turin and Honorary Commissioner Exposition.
